LOS ANGELES, Calif. —
Rick Fox has a secret weapon helping him get ready for the Season 11 premiere of “Dancing with the Stars” – his girlfriend – Eliza Dushku.

“It’s been amazing — talk about a partner that’s made sure that my body’s on track to be prepared for September 20,” Rick told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson of how the actress, who attended the Season 11 cast announcement in LA on Monday night, has helped him limber up for the competition. “I’ve been doing exercises that I didn’t know existed – Pilates… [And we’ve been working on] creating flexibility at home.”

The former basketball star, who played for both the Celtics and their arch rivals, the Lakers during his professional career, told Shaun he’s been looking at mistakes of past competitors on “DWTS” and has his game frame on.

“I’ve been working on the hip action… my frame and dancing down to my partner, who is obviously not 6’ 7,” he said, referring to his height.

Eliza Dushku & Rick Fox Are Shacking Up!

It’s getting serious between Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox!

The lovebirds are setting up house, Fox told E! News at InStyle’s Summer Soiree yesterday. “I’m moving out of my place. We live together in the [Hollywood] Hills.”

So how’s the cohabiting going so far?

“It’s good, better than good,” tiny Eliza dished. “The dogs haven’t peed on me yet!” Rick joked.

Eliza even helped dress her honey for last night’s party when he came downstairs in a less than stylish outfit.

“I realized we made an error when my dear came down the stairs in a real clashy outfit, two toned shoes, green shirt,” said Dushku. “I have never redressed someone in my life and if it was a year ago…but it’s at that point where I’m like, ‘Yeah, we got to go upstairs and change.’”

As for who’s in charge in the kitchen, the actress admits she can’t cook. “I have one staple…French toast!” Fox adds.

And while there’s no wedding bells ringing for this twosome, it seems Dushku is already fitting in with his family.

“I took Rick and the kids camping a few times,” she said of their recent summer trips. “Yeah, we did family this summer,” Fox added.

Eliza talks about Faith

While attending the Supanova Pop Culture Expo, Eliza talked about her years portraying the insane bad slayer, Faith. Make sure you read this, it’s a good read. I enjoyed it!

Eliza Dushku was most recently seen as Echo, the persona-shifting ‘doll’ kicking ass and taking names, as Eliza’s characters are wont to do, on Joss Whedon’s short-lived Fox series Dollhouse–but even today, she’s still best known for a different role in another, longer-lasting and much more popular cult classic Whedon series: that of Faith, Sarah Michelle Gellar’s dark-haired slayer frenemy on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Earthsmightiest.com has posted an old (new to us!) interview that Eliza did in her Tru Calling days. Hopefully all enjoy!

Whether she’s tapping into her dark side or playing someone a little lighter, all of it is somehow related to who she is as a person at any given moment.

“It depends on what comes up, where I am and what I’m giving off,” says Dushku in this interview conducted at the time of Tru Calling.
